Opening of College Classes Will Push Through Nationwide on June 15 According to CHED

13 June 2009

The opening of college classes will definitely push through on June 15 nationwide according to CHED Chairman Emmanuel Angeles. This is in spite of the rapidly increasing number of confirmed H1N1 cases in the country and the raising by the WHO of the H1N1 alert to global pandemic (alert level 6).

The exceptions to the June 15 college class opening, as noted by Mariz Umali in her flash report are: UP Diliman and St. Paul's Manila on June 16, Far Eastern University (FEU) on June 17 and University of Asia and the Pacific on June 22.
