Police Supt. Franklin Mabanag, 5 Other QC Cops Suspended for Six Months for Grave Misconduct in Failon Case Arrests

Six Quezon City cops have been ordered suspended for six (6) months by the Napolcom. The officers led by Police Superintendent Franklin Mabanag were found guilty of grave misconduct in connection with the arrest of Ted Failon's in-laws and household help at the height of the Trina Etong suicide case.  

The six suspended policemen are: 1) Supt. Franklin Mabanag who led the arresting team, 2) Supt. Gerardo Ratuita, 3) C/Insp. Cherry Lou Donato; 4) C/Insp. Enrico Figueroa; 5) S/Insp. Roberto Razon, and Insp. Erlinda Garcia.  Acquitted were Supt. Marcelino Pedrozo, SPO2 Jerry Abad and PO2 Joyceline Marcelino.
