Traffic Rerouting Scheme for SONA and the Iglesia Ni Cristo's 95th Founding Anniversary, Monday, July 27, 2009

26 July 2009

This is the traffic rerouting scheme that will be adopted tomorrow, Monday, July 27, 2009.

Closed to traffic from 7am to 12 midnight are the following thoroughfares:
Roxas Boulevard, northbound and southbound from P. Burgos to P. Ocampo St.
P. Ocampo St. from Roxas Boulevard to Taft Avenue
Adriatico St. from P. Ocampo up to Quirino Avenue
P. Ocampo St. is perhaps better known as Vito Cruz where the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex. This, I understand, is where the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) brethren from the Manila North Area will congregate tomorrow for their 95th founding anniversary celebration.  Those from the Manila East Area will hold their celebrations at the Araneta Coliseum.

This report by Igan Arnold Clavio actually covers only the Manila area primarily for the INC's 95th founding anniversary celebration.

I'll try to get hold of the traffic rerouting scheme related to SONA and post it here as soon as I can. This will affect the areas near the Batasan area and Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

I don't know how I missed this one; it's been out for quite a while.  It's Mike Enriquez's report on the traffic rerouting scheme on July 27, 2009 because of the SONA and INC 95th founding anniversary celebration.
