TV Patrol Report on Freddie Aguilar Saying Charice, Arnel Pineda as "Gaya-Gaya" — I Hope They'll Have the Chance to Sing "Anak"

10 July 2009

Freddie Aguilar's comments can sometimes be controversial.  But there is no denying the fact that Filipinos really need to be aware of who they are and there can be no quarrel with his desire to promote Filipino music and culture especially when we are abroad.  I just saw this story this morning and would like you to know about it.

This is TV Patrol report by Ginger Conejero via kyte.tv:

I would like to see the day when Freddie Aguilar, Arnel Pineda, Charice and Gary V combine their vast musical talents to sing international hits like Anak, which was translated into 26 foreign languages,  and other Filipino songs.

  1. if that's the case, then our system of education is 'unggoy too'. Remember? English is use as a medium of instruction. I believe nationalism is in the heart not in the tongue. Yes talangka talaga.
