Eight Men Posing as Ben Tulfo's "Bitag" Operatives Take Entire BPI ATM at Shell Station Along SLEX in Muntinlupa

17 June 2009

A BPI Automated Teller Machine (ATM) containing a still undetermined amount of money was forcibly detached and taken away by eight armed men from the Shell Station along South Luzon Expressway in Muntinlupa City on Wednesday.

According to the lone security  guard who was disarmed by the robbers, the latter wore vests with the marking "BITAG" printed on them.  This prompted Ben Tulfo, host of the hard-hitting investigative TV show "BITAG" to clarify that his men had nothing to do with the robbery and those responsible for it were out to discredit his TV program.
