Ruby Rose Barrameda Laid to Rest Without Reuniting with Her Daughters — After the Grieving Begins the All-Out Quest for Justice for Ruby Rose

17 June 2009

A grieving Barrameda family joined by hundreds of relatives, friends and a commiserating public gave Ruby Rose Barrameda-Jimenez a final farewell as the slain young mother of two was laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.

Ruby Rose was buried without the reunion wished for by her family with her two daughters. Her older daughter, Marga Ysabel, preferred not to visit her mother's wake even after she was interviewed by Steve Dailisan of GMA News.

This is the bittersweet farewell to Ruby Rose as told in this report by Jun Veneracion courtesy of GMANews.tv:

After the grieving, the all-out quest for justice by the Barrameda family with the entire Filipino people behind them will begin in earnest.  Manuel Montero filed today a supplemental affidavit with the Department of Justice to buttress his earlier testimony against the other persons he earlier identified as responsible for the exceptionally brutal crime.
