GMAnews.tv's Article Entitled"Summary and Comparison of Mancao's Affidavits"

5 June 2009

GMA 7 is carrying in its website, GMAnews.tv, an article entitled Summary and comparison of Mancao's two affidavits, the one dated March 1, 2007 and his more recent affidavit dated February 13, 2009.

The March 1, 2007 affidavit is 4 pages long, typewritten, executed at Broward County, Florida and notarized by Isabel Moreno.

The February 13, 2009 affidavit is 5 pages long, executed at Fort Lauderdale Florida and signed before Honorary Consul Angelo S. Macatangay.  It was published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer on March 20, 2009

There is a third Mancao affidavit which was reportedly executed here in the Philippines before he left for the US in July 2001.  GMAnews.tv says that it does not have a copy of this affidavit.

From what appears in the GMAnews.tv summary and comparison article, Mancao did not appear to implicate anybody in the Dacer-Corbito double murder case except for Michael Ray Aquino.  It is benign compared to his more recent February 13, 2009 affidavit.

In the interest of public information and fair presentation, here is the link to said article at GMAnews.tv.

Cezar Mancao Is Back in the Philippines, June 4, 2009, Under Heavy, Airtight NBI Security Protection

4 June 2009

Former police Senior Superintendent Cezar Mancao is now back in the Philippines!

PAL flight PR 103 from Los Angeles touched down at the NAIA Centennial Terminal 2 at exactly 5:33am, 22 minutes earlier than its estimated time of arrival of 5:55am. That flight is now part of history.

Security was extremely tight and even media had limited access to Mancao the moment he disembarked from flight PR 103 wearing his specially-requested bulletproof vest.

Upon his arrival, Mancao was immediately whisked off into a bulletproof Ford Expedition van in a convoy of fifteen (15) cars headed by a five-man motorcycle unit of the Manila Police District.  According to the report by Ivan Mayrina, the Ford Expedition was the fifth vehicle in the convoy which also bore hordes of heavily-armed NBI security escort.

Cezar Mancao's Philippine Airlines Flight to the Philippines Will Arrive 5:55AM June 4, Thursday

3 June 2009  10:15pm, Manila time

Cezar Mancao is definitely returning to the Philippines early tomorrow morning, June 4, Thursday aboard Philippine Airlines flight PR 103 from Los Angeles, California.

Here are the news reports from Saksi courtesy of GMAnews.tv:

Mancao's return under extremely tight security is expected to roil the political landscape in the Philippines as his affidavit implicates Senator Panfilo Lacson as the person who ordered the killing of PR man Bubby Dacer and his driver Emmanuel Corbito and even former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada himself as the one who wanted Dacer to be liquidated. Both Senator Lacson and former President Estrada have vehemently denied the charges against them by Mancao.
