The story of the birth, life and death of our Lord Jesus Christ is known to every Christian. His painful death is a necessary element of the salvation which God our Father offers to every believer.
It is the Resurrection, however, that defines the victory on the Cross more than two thousand years ago. Easter is, and should be, the most joyous of all Christian events. It is at this time that our faith is validated and upheld by the power of the Risen Christ and the outpouring of God's Spirit.
