The Iglesia Ni Cristo Celebrates Its 96th Anniversary

Today marks the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Best wishes to all Iglesia Ni Cristo brethren on this joyous occasion. This is the first INC anniversary under the leadership of Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo.

Brother Eraño G. Manalo, Executive Minister of Iglesia ni Cristo Dies at 84 — INC Members Across the World Mourn Ka Erdy's Passing

Brother Eraño G. Manalo, Executive Minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo, passed away at 3:53 Monday afternoon of cardio-pulmonary arrest.  His body now lies in state at the Iglesia ni Cristo Central Temple in Quezon City.  He was 84 years old.

Ka Erdy was the fifth child of INC founder Felix Y. Manalo and Honorata de Guzman.  The name Eraño was derived from the term "New Era" which Ka Felix used to describe what he saw was  "a new Christian era" as the Iglesia ni Cristo was established.

We join the entire membership of the Iglesia ni Cristo around the world in mourning the loss of the beloved spiritual leader, Brother Eraño G. Manalo.
