4 May 2009 7:56pm Manila timeKris Aquino was interviewed live over the telephone by Karen Davila less than half an hour ago near the end of the TV Patrol show while the TV show host was watching over her mom at the Makati Medical Center.
An emotional but grateful Kris Aquino related to the nation how her mother requested her to recite the rosary as their way of thanking God for what appeared to be a successful operation on the former Philippine President.
According to Kris, she told her mother, "Mom, alam mo, sabi ng mga doktor, successful ... maganda. First time kong nakita yung relief at gratitude sa mukha niya. Gusto kong ibahagi ito sa lahat, alam mo una niyang ginawa right after nun, 'Thank you, God!'
Her mom then instructed her to get the rosary that was given to her by one of the visionaries of Fatima. Kris continued: "Meron siya kasing miraculous rosary na ibinigay sa kaniya ni Sister Lucia, isa sa mga visionary ng Fatima ... kinuha ko yung rosary tapos sinabi niya, 'You pray,' kasi bawal nga siyang magsalita ... so I prayed the entire rosary and talagang I was fighting back tears dahil ayokong makita niya 'kong umiiyak pero yung pakiramdam ko talaga na ...ang mommy ko ... nagising okay ... yung nakita ko sa mukha niya ... parang pati siya mismo ang lakas nung faith niya na gagaling siya at yung mga doktor pinapaalala sa 'kin na ang pasyente gagaling kung naniniwala siyang gagaling siya."
Let's continue to pray for Cory Aquino's healing and speedy recovery. Let's continue to pray for her entire family that they will have God's strength in this trying moment.

"Actual operation 1 hour and a half."
Cory woke up before 6pm and asked Kris about the operation.
"It was so good ... lahat ng cancerous portion sa colon niya natanggal 'yon."
"Napakalaking blessing ..."
"Sa lahat ng mga Pilipinong nagdarasal para sa Mommy ko, salamat po."
