Actress Katrina Halili, assisted by her lawyer Atty. Raymund Palad, filed a "malpractice of cosmetic surgery" case against cosmetic surgeons, Dr. Hayden Kho and Dr. Vicki Belo, owner of the Belo Medical Group, before the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC).
The complaint against Dr. Hayden Kho arose from what Halili alleged was his "lack of qualification, training, and specialization" of Dr. Hayden Kho" in performing liposuction surgery while Dra. Belo was impleaded because employed Dr. Hayden Kho and allowed him to perform liposuction surgery while knowing that he was not fully qualified to do so.
Halili also filed an administrative complaint before the Department of Health (DOH) seeking the "immediate suspension and subsequent revocation" of the license to operate of the Belo Medical Group allegedly "for its failure to maintain the standards and technical requirements as provided for under Administrative Order No. 183 s. 2004, or the Rules and Regulations Governing the Licensure and Regulation of Ambulatory Surgical Clinics of the Department of Health."
