Eric Johnston Chua Did Not Go to NBI Today, May 25, But Has Talked to Jay Ruiz of ABS-CBN — Denies Involvement in Hayden - Katrina Sex Video Upload

The man everybody seems to be looking for nowadays did not go to the NBI today, May 25, but he did talk to Jay Ruiz of ABS-CBN.    

Eric Johnston Chua denied any complicity in the uploading to the Internet and the distribution of the Hayden Kho sex videos including the one with actress Katrina Halili.  A video footage of Chua was shown at TV Patrol this evening.  

However, I looked at both kyte.tv and ABS-CBN.com just now (8:30pm) and failed to find the video posted there.

Chua's appearance and denial of complicity further deepens the mystery as to how the sex videos got uploaded to the Internet and distributed through the pirate video mass market.

GMA-7 also has a report on Eric Johnston Chua by Nelson Canlas.  Although it does not show Chua talking with a reporter (as I saw with the report by Jay Ruiz), it does contain some new information involving not only Chua but Bistek Rosario and his girlfriend.  

Towards the end of the video report, there is a statement by Eric Johnston Chua saying: "I have no participation in the uploading and attempt to sell the Hayden Kho sex videos.  All allegations relating thereto are false, and will be dealth with by my lawyers in the appropriate forum and at the proper time."

Hayden Kho Says, "I Apologize ..." Katrina Halili Answers, "Apology Not Accepted!"

Dr. Hayden Kho has issued this statement of apology (I pieced this together from the video clip below the statement):

... I sincerely apologize for the harm it has done to other parties. I must emphasize that there was no malice on my part, or intention to hurt anyone with these recordings.  I deplore the fact that without my knowledge and consent, these recordings were uploaded on the internet, downloaded, reproduced in optical media form, distributed, and sold to the public.  

I own up to my responsibility as a professional, and have decided to suspend my practice of medicine.  This incident has had a mental and emotional effect on my being.  At this stage, I realize I cannot expect understanding and forgiveness. I can only pray that this comes in due time.

Interviewed by GMA-7 about the sex video scandal, actress Katrina Halili who was one of the women shown with Hayden Kho in the videos, said with a mix of fury and emotion:

Parang hindi ko alam kasi sobrang nagulat po ako na nagawa niya 'yon eh ... kasi, hindi po ganu'n 'yung pagkakilala ko sa taong 'yon. Sobrang ... nagulat ako, hindi ko alam na gano'n siya ka-demonyo.

The actress also appealed to the other women who appeared in the sex videos, saying:

Sana po lumabas na din kayo ... para naman maparusahan yung mga taong nambababoy sa 'tin."

Edu Manzano Identifies a Certain Eric Johnston Chua As the Person Allegedly Responsible for Proliferation of Kho - Halili Sex Video

Optical Media Board (OMB) Chairman Edu Manzano has identified a certain Eric Johnston Chua as the person allegedly responsible for the proliferation of the Hayden Kho - Katrina Halili sex video. 

According to Manzano, their investigation had more to do with how the video was obtained, uploaded and distributed into the market. 

In explaining the process, Manzano was amused in relating how apparently inexperienced Chua was because he was asking for P2million for the illicit merchandise, referring to the offer made to distributors for the five (5) sex videos.  "Hindi niya alam ang patakaran ... benta nyan P50,000 maximum, kahit na blockbuster Hollywood movies," said Manzano.
