Siya rin ang donor ng house-and-lot prizes ni Erik Santos at Frency Dy sa Search For The Star In A Million sa St. Monique Valais sa Binangonan, Rizal.Nagsimula ang involvement ni Delfin Lee sa ABS-CBN noong 2000 nang humiling si Ted Failon na mag-donate ng house-and-lot package bilang premyo sa Hoy Gising. May rekomendasyon si dating Executive Secretary Lenny de Jesus.
Mula noon, naging supporter, anonymously sa simula, si Mr. Lee ng mga projects ng ABS-CBN at DZMM. Ayaw niya ngpublicity pero nagdo-donate siya ng mga wheelchair at gamot at scholarship.
Sa totoo lang, marami ang nagbibiro sa kanya na siya ang Kapamilya Big Brother dahil sa suporta niya.
Kahit sa kumpanya niya, isang pilantropo. Halos kalahati ng mga empleyado niya ay napaaral niya.
"Hindi naman pwedeng puro kabig lang," sabi niya.
Lahat ng ginagawa niya, mga project niya, ay may "personal touch." May personal contact siya sa lahat ng kanyang mga empleyado.
Pati ang mga buyer niya, personal niyang kinakausap, kinakaibigan.
"Dapat, kaibigan ang tingin nila sa akin para maganda," sabi niya.

It turns out my ignorance of who Delfin Lee is has been massive. It now appears that Delfin Lee is the Donald Trump of the Philippines! Whoa! I've known about Trump for years. But Delfin Lee? This is a rude introduction. Mea culpa!
To make up for that, here are three video clips from YouTube showing Delfin Lee in a Simpleng Usapan with Noel Jorolan interview. These video clips, of course, are totally unrelated to the Trina Etong suicide case:
And if we are to base it from this telebisyon.net report, Delfin Lee's got only Donald Trump's business acumen but that he has the opposite modest demeanor with a matching character to boot:

Many Filipinos Get to See Delfin Lee For the First Time Through ABS-CBN TV Patrol Report

Hundreds of thousands if not millions of Filipinos had their first glimpse of the person first introduced to the public by DOJ Secretary Raul Gonzales simply as "Delfin Lee" in a news report by ABS-CBN. According to Secretary Gonzales, he received a text message saying that Lee was in the Failon household at the time of the shooting and that he (Lee) helped Ted move the body of the seriously wounded Trina from their bedroom to the bathroom.
Delfin Lee is reportedly a longtime friend of Ted Failon and also of Vice President Noli De Castro. This article by Sun Star Pampanga identifies Lee as the president and chief executive officer of Globe Asiatique Realty. Lee has denied that he was at the Failon residence at the time of the shooting. I recall seeing Vice President Noli De Castro on TV say that he requested Lee to go to the Failon household upon learning of the incident because he could not contact Ted. According to Lee, he reached Failon's house only in the afternoon of April 15, hours after the shooting incident happened. He strongly denied the accusations emanating from the text message received and reported by Secretary Gonzales.
This is the picture of Lee that I took as his interview was being aired at ABS-CBN's TV Patrol. I believe that showing this constitutes fair use of ABS-CBN's rights over their video.
Anyway, if there are objections from ABS-CBN, I'll promptly pull it down.

Even As DOJ Objects, Trina's Remains To Be Cremated Wednesday Morning, April 22, Manila Time

The remains of Trinidad "Trina" Etong are scheduled to be cremated at 11am on April 22, Wednesday, Manila time at the Arlington Funeral Homes in Quezon City. This is according to news reports coming from gmaNews.tv.
However, the cremation won't happen if Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Raul Gonzales will have his way. In a Manila Times online article, DOJ bucks Trina cremation, Gonzales was reported to be saying that no cremation should take place until the police finishes its investigation into Trina's death.
In the same Manila Times article, Gonzales opened a new angle in the Trina suicide regarding a tip he allegedly received through a text message from an "anonymous source" who said that Trina's body "was transferred from the bedroom to the bathroom" by Ted Failon and that a certain "Delfin Lee" assisted Failon in doing it. Gonzales however admitted that his information is "very raw" and that he has ordered the NBI to look for this "Delfin Lee" so he could shed light on the case.
