In a matter of hours, we'll know who the next American Idol will be. This MSNBC article, Kara DioGuardi's song could decide 'Idol,' appears to be suggesting that the winner will be Adam Lambert on the basis of his performance of "No Boundaries," co-written by AI fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi. On Tuesday night, Simon Cowell called Adam a "worldwide star," a term we don't hear too often, if at all, and a moniker that will probably stick as everybody concedes that a major 'star' Adam Lambert has become.
In the meantime, while fiddling with our fingers, here's a collection of video clips from CNN and MSNBC to entertain us while the wait is on:

The front-runner from the start has always been Adam Lambert who has dominated the entire American Idol Season 8 in a way that no other competitor before him has done. He is clearly the favorite to win. However, Kris Allen is the sentimental favorite and a victory for him is not being ruled out.
Either way, we have had one of the best AI seasons ever and I'm sure whoever wins, both of these incredibly talented performers will eventually find their way to the Philippines, sooner rather than later, as David Cook and David Archuleta have, four days ago, in an unforgettable Live in Manila experience.
