It is the most anticipated wedding in the Philippines. Ryan and Juday. And now, it's turned out out to be the surprise of the year. And it's happened days earlier than many people expected. So secretive were the preparations that even the likes of Ricky Lo missed this one. This is what Ricky wrote in philstar.com on April 22:
And finally, after the “hide and seek” with the media and the not-so-clever attempts at cover-ups, Judy Ann “Juday” Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are marching down the aisle on May 2, a Saturday, at an expected fairy-tale wedding to be solemnized at approximately 3,000-plus-feet above sea level not on a plane as some highly-imaginative showbiz-watchers might be suspecting but in Tagaytay.
The correct date, of course, is April 28 and the place, San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas.
The wedding was officiated by Fr. Tito Calauag. Sharon Cuneta was the matron of honor. Unang Hirit host Suzi Entrata-Abrera acted as ninang.
