Masses were held across the country to mark the 40th day death anniversary of President Cory Aquino who passed away on August 1, 2009.
After displaying solidarity as a family in the announcement of Senator Noynoy Aquino's decision to run for the presidency in 2010 at the Club Filipino in San Juan, the Aquino children went their separate ways momentarily to attend masses for their mother in various parts of the country.
