GMA News has put online its Missing Persons Database (MPD) which allows users to put up inquiries about people that they know are missing or information about people that they know are safe and sound.
This is one excellent way of leveraging technology to reconnect people at this time when powerful tropical storm Ondoy destroyed communities and severely disrupted people's contacts with each other.
The interactive MPD leverages the power of Google Spreadsheets and the Internet allowing people to access the update the database. This is the link to GMA News' Missing Persons Database.
