NBA all-time scoring leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will coach an NBA legends squad composed of Vlade Divac, Dominique Wilkins, Tim Hardaway and Robert Horry when they face off against a PBA legends team headed by Alvin Patrimonio, Benjie Paras, Allan Caidic, Ronnie Magsanoc and Kenneth Duremdes. Supporting the NBA legends are players from the NBA Developmental League while backstopping the PBA legends are Team Pilipinas stalwarts like Arwind Santos, Sonny Thoss, Wynne Arboleda and Willie Miller.
This extremely rare one-game encounter dubbed as the NBA Asia Challenge will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on September 11, Friday.
