I was on my way out of the house but stopped just long enough to watch CBS Evening News with Katie Couric at QTV. Katie reports about the historic meeting between US President Barack Obama and top executives of credit card companies.
This meeting is a watershed in financial history. Never again are all of us going to be at the mercy of these banks and credit card companies.
In the Philippines, this should serve as a signal to PGMA and the BSP to start protecting the interest of poor Filipino consumers and credit cardholders.
