The number of confirmed H1N1 cases in the Philippines climbed further to 33 with the addition of four (4) more new confirmed cases according to the latest update from the DOH.
One of the new confirmed cases is that a 17-year old male De La Salle University (DLSU) student, "who has no history of travel" according to the DOH report. He is the third DLSU student to test positive with H1N1. Prior to him, two international exchange students from Japan were also confirmed infected with the H1N1 flu virus.
The DOH in its update also claimed that "there is no community-level outbreak of A(H1N1) as the DOH and local government units are able to contain its spread."
