Panic-stricken passengers of MRT3 abandoned their coach and walked back to Kamuning Station after their coach emitted smoke en route to Cubao Station early this morning.

You will recall, on May 28, just about a week and a half ago, that a large piece of metal forming part of a protective wire mesh from a condominium under construction fell on the LRT tracks between Pedro Gil and Quirino Avenue Stations causing a two-hour disruption in the LRT's operations and nearly half a million pesos in lost ticket sales.
