Classes have been suspended at the preschool, elementary and high school levels in some areas in Metro Manila specifically, Taguig, Pasay, Pateros, Caloocan and Malabon. Pia Arcangel made the announcement at Balitanghali a few minutes ago.
Manila also had classes suspended up to the high level but this applies to public schools only.
Navotas and Valenzuela have also reportedly suspended classes up to the high school level but it's not clear if this applies to both public and private schools in said cities.
