TV Patrol tonight provided additional details to the recent news story that the Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos will portray the life of the late President Cory Aquino, dubbed by TIME Magazine as "The Saint of Democracy."
The movie to be produced by Star Cinema will feature Piolo Pascual as the young Ninoy Aquino.
Both performers expressed gratitude over being chosen for the project. "Grabeng blessing po 'yon, grabeng-grabeng reward po 'yon... pagbubutihan ko po talaga," said Piolo.
On the part of Vilma Santos, she says that everything needs to be well-planned to avoid any problems with her schedule considering that she needs to devote some time to her reelection campaign. "It should be well-planned dahil ayoko rin namang mapahiya sa mga mamamayan na pinili ka dahil ikaw si Vilma. Gusto ko mabigyan ko ng justice yung role bilang Madame President Corazon Aquino. Kung ibibigay sa 'kin yung role na 'yon palagay ko wala nang makakapantay yun pagdating sa career ko."
