A monument to the late President Cory Aquino will rise beside that of his husband Ninoy near the Manila Hotel. Mayor Alfredo Lim, a longtime supporter of President Cory said he would fund the construction of the monument at the corner of P. Burgos Drive and Roxas Boulevard just across the Manila Hotel.

Tama ka Ana mukhang talagang mas hospitable and Maynila sa mga monumento kaysa sa Caloocan. Yung monumento ni Andres Bonifacio sa Lawton sa harap ng post office ay may magandang fountain pa at yung malapit sa City Hall ay may malawak na espasyo at isang lugar na talagang pinupuntahan ng mga tao.
ReplyDeletePero kahit paano, Ana, I'm happy to report to you and to our readers that the billboards which encircle the Monumento will hopefully be a thing of the past. As to how, medyo may kahabaan ang kwento. One of your comments in my blog had a role to play in it.
