Princess Velasco still faces a DOJ investigation filed against her, her boyfriend Dr. Mark Herbert "Bistek" Rosario and Eric Johnston Chua in connection with their alleged participation in the uploading and distribution of the Hayden Kho sex videos. This is how she looked — tension was evident on her face — when she attested to her affidavit before the DOJ on June 25, 2009:
Now, Princess Velasco has reason to smile — GMA News reports that her debut music album just turned gold!
"Thank you sa lahat ng mga bumibili. Yung mga songs ko kasi masaya, and very, very singable tsaka sulit namang kapag binili kaya marami namang nag-support!"
Everybody deserves a second chance. Filipinos who are known for their natural kindness have just given Princess Velasco her second chance. We wish her well and we hope she makes the most of it.
