Courtney Hazlett's got the scoop — it's all systems go for Michael Jackson's comeback concert in London beginning July 8.
Before Hazlett was introduced, MSNBC says that the King of Pop is busy rehearsing 4 days a week in a building near the Burbank California Airport. Kenny Ortega of High School Musical fame will direct the performances. Travis Payne is the associate director for choreography and according to Hazlett, he'll be doing most of the hands-on moves and that Michael will be doing a new move that will rival the legendary moon walk. Here is Courtney Hazlett's report:
Back on March 5, 2009, Michael Jackson announced that he'll be holding a series of 10 shows in London. The shows were eventually increased to fifty after fans snapped up tickets for the initial 10 shows.
These are CNN video clips of that announcement, via youtube.com:
For Michael Jackson's legions of fans, it's gonna be Thriller and Billie Jean once again ... rolled into one ... probably more. I bet this won't be the final curtain call after all.
