Quezon City Asst. Prosecutor Mary Jean Pamittan has dropped the obstruction of justice charges for "insufficiency of evidence" against respondents Ted Failon (Mario Teodoro F. Etong) and five others (Carlota Morbos, Frida Bollicer, Pacifico Apacible, Glen Polan and Pamela Arteche-Trinchera) in connection with the Trina shooting incident.

With this development, it's almost certain that the NBI's findings on the Trina case which is due out anytime this week will be a suicide.
